PLAIN-LANGUAGE NOTICE
Privacy, by design.
Last updated: October 28, 2026
FocusDeck is designed to work without an account or app backend. Your tasks, daily goals, notes and activity are stored in your browser on the device you use.
Information stored on your device
FocusDeck may save task titles, categories, priorities, due dates, completion state, daily goals, notes, focus-session records and your theme preference in browser local storage. This information is used to provide the app's features and is not sent to a FocusDeck application server.
Your control over saved data
You can export a JSON backup or import a previously exported backup using Settings & backup. You can reset the app's saved data from that same screen. Clearing your browser's site data may also erase information. Export a backup before clearing data or changing devices.
Shared devices
Anyone who can use the same browser profile on your device may be able to access the locally stored FocusDeck information. Avoid saving sensitive information on a shared or public device.
Hosting, fonts and third-party services
The website may be hosted by a static hosting provider. The current stylesheet requests fonts from Google Fonts when an internet connection is available. Those services may process technical connection data according to their own policies. The initial FocusDeck version does not include advertising, account registration, analytics or payment processing.
Children and sensitive information
FocusDeck is a general-purpose productivity tool. Do not use it to store passwords, financial account credentials, or other sensitive information.
Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated if the app's features or data practices change. The notice should be reviewed before adding analytics, advertising, cloud storage or other third-party services.
